Dress Code

Every student (male or female) must wear a swimming cap and swimming goggles before getting into the water. Caps and googles are available at the pool site if needed (at a cost).

First Day of Classes

Students must go directly to the site manager, who will direct the student to their respective class. This would be the designated class for the student each week (If any changes thereafter the manager would notify you).

Schedules will be distributed by the Deck Manager. Schedules indicate the start and ending dates of each semester. These dates are subjected to change (emergency closure due to weather etc.).

Attendance

EVERY WEEK STUDENTS MUST NOTIFY THE MANAGER OF THEIR ATTENDANCE BEFORE GOING INTO THEIR CLASS.

Make-up Classes

Students are allowed one makeup per semester. Make up classes are scheduled with the Pool Manager. Make-up classes are not transferable to another semester nor to another person/sibling etc.

Locker/Restroom Policy

Our Staff are not allowed to accompany any student to the bathroom. It is advised that a parent or someone authorized by the parents must be present while student/child is taking swimming courses. Please note, that any underaged student would not be allowed to enter the school building without an adult.

If you want to use the lockers, you are advised to walk with your own lock and key. Kingdom Dynamic Sports & New City Gateway Community Incorporated are not responsible for any lost or stolen items of students or spectators.

Students are advised to bring their own towels and they must change in the locker room changing stations, when changing their clothes. NO INDECENT EXPOSURE WILL BE TOLERATED. Women are not allowed in the Men locker room to change their child’s clothes and vice versa.

Parents

Parents are not allowed on Deck. If you need to attend to your child please seek the permission of the Manager or notify the lifeguard of your intent. We will take the child out of the water for you, if you so desire.

Parents are not allowed to lean over, chat, or assist their child while the child is in their class.

Please note: Kingdom Dynamic Sports’ and New City Gateway Community Inc. intent is to present the safest environment for the children/students and to provide the least amount of distraction. This we believe would enhance the student’s experience.

Last Class of Day

No showering is allowed after the last class. The Pool area must be cleared of all patrons for the Security to perform security detail in pool area.

John Adams Pool Mandatory requirements & Parking

The entrance to the pool is from the front of the building on Rockaway Blvd. Parking is available directly in front of the school without meter and on the surrounding streets.

All adults entering the school must present a photo ID no exception (not a snap shot or photo copy, only the original ID). This must be shown to the school security (We have no control of this requirement). You would be scanned by the High school security. Please leave behind any devices that would trigger the scanning machine.

Please note that the security would not allow an underage child to enter the building without an adult.

 

Payment/Refund Policy for all locations: 

All payments are final and non-refundable and or transferable (to other family member). All make-ups must be done during the semester as it is non-transferable to another semester. There would not be any refund If you decide to cancel after taking classes or after the starting date.

Thank you for registering for swimming classes. For your convenience, our system is set up that if a payment isn’t received within two hours of reservation, the classes would be cancelled.
